Spotting Your Favorite Singers Without Makeup

We all love to see our favorite celebrities in makeup and dressed to the nines. We revel in their public shining glamor, but we can't seem to get enough of the intimate and personal details of their private lives. They are normally only caught in their day to day home lives with out their makeup. There are photographers that spend their entire career snapping pictures of musicians, models and movie stars without their makeup on.


Seeing our favorite stars all made up and with their hair done is something we get used to. Initially, it catches us by surprise when we see them without makeup. Once the hair and makeup are removed stars' appearances change tremendously. When they are wearing their makeup you get the full visual brilliance. With no makeup most of them look just like us.


Noticeable warts, discolorations and pimples are seen without them. Melissa Gilbert with out makeup looks just like the average person. She's not the only one that looks drastically different. Take a closer look at those pictures next time and you will see just how different they look.


Older actresses such as Goldie Hawn are usually shown in these photos. The ageless appearance onscreen disappears without the makeup. These actresses and singers without makeup resemble the rest of us with wrinkles and laugh lines. They have some gray when they don't get touch ups to go with the makeup.


Can you picture your most cherished singer with no makeup? What about Kiss? You can't forget the wonderful times of all the great bands and the charming makeup. Bands that wear heavy makeup like Kiss and Poison are almost unrecognizable without theirs. Once the make up is off, it is obvious that they are men. The difference is amazing, no longer are the faces completely hidden under perfect makeup, the flaws all show. It's amazing to see Gene Simmons out of makeup, he almost doesn't look like the man in KISS! Remember Boy George from the 80's, you would not even recognize him as the same person now as he works as a dance DJ at a hot London Club and with the Ministry of Sound. Having a white stripe of makeup across his face is how Adam Ant used to present himself. This can be a surprise to see them with no makeup on.


Celebrities without makeup make us all feel better. They help our self esteem when they are not all airbrushed and made up and on the covers of mags. Looking through magazines and seeing the models all made up can sometimes make us feel self conscience about the way we look. There isn't anything wrong with us but we forget that for a moment when looking at those pictures. That is until we see them without their makeup.


After seeing their flaws we don't feel the pressure to be so perfect. Like the rest of us, they suffer from skin conditions and acne. Without makeup on laugh lines and wrinkles become visible. Aren't you already feeling better about yourself? Oh yes. You certainly do. Now you know its not reality.


When you see a beautiful person on the cover of some glamor magazine, just smile to yourself knowing that you're just the same as they are. You just don't have a professional makeup artist in your bathroom waiting to make you look perfect every morning. You would look great all the time also if you were given this luxury.
